My Broken Heart, October 2023
Created in the aftermath of October 7, “My Broken Heart” reflects profound Israeli grief, collective shock, and the longing for peace and hope.
Through expressive and intuitive abstraction, Michal Avrech explores loss, resilience, compassion, and shared human suffering.
Trees appear as archetypal symbols of life, endurance, and renewal.
Through layered gestures, fragmented forms, and moments of light, the works create a visual space where pain and hope coexist.
